Economist, Markets, Micro-finance Specialist

Rona Ramos was born and raised in Region III – Central Luzon, Philippines. Ramos is a multi-sectoral economist, microfinance, markets, and enterprise specialist and project management with “Out of the Box” Innovative business models and market-based program thinking and approaches backed with multi-layer market researches, analysis, design, and development. 

Dr. Ramos has vast experience in Africa and Asia, designing and implementing development programs.  

Dr. Rona R. Ramos has been specialist consultancy practice for the last 17 years.

Implemented project with Oxfam UK in Markets based WASH program design development and implementation, development of sanitation enterprise, and pro-poor finance models.

Has obtained a Master of Economics from Leyte Normal University – Philippines and earned a merit Certificate in Social Enterprise and Financial Management. With a foundational Bachelor’s degree in Economics and political science.
